77.3: Manav Suthar to Keshara Nuwantha, Outside off and full, Keshara Nuwantha drives it along the ground to deep extra cover. The sweeper charges to his right and tidies it up. Two runs taken.
77.2: Manav Suthar to Keshara Nuwantha, FOUR! Nicely done! Around the leg stump, quicker through the air, Keshara Nuwantha sits across and plays the paddle sweep through short fine leg for a boundary.
77.1: Manav Suthar to Keshara Nuwantha, Short around off, blocked off the back foot.
76.6: Ravindra Jadeja to Asitha Fernando, Another prolonged appeal for caught behind, but Ahsan Raza stays unmoved. The players around the bat seem to have heard something, but India have burnt all their reviews. Spins away from the batter after drifting in. Asitha Fernando is sucked on the front foot to defend, but the ball spins square and beats the outside edge. UltraEdge shows a flat line. A spike does appear, but that is when the bat hits the ground.
76.5: Ravindra Jadeja to Keshara Nuwantha, 200 up for Sri Lanka! Pitched full on middle and leg. Keshara Nuwantha lunges in front and clips it into mid-wicket for a quick single.
76.4: Ravindra Jadeja to Keshara Nuwantha, A much more convincing appeal for LBW this time around, but the finger stays down. Shubman Gill has taken the review. Darts in a full ball, Nuwantha brings his bat out in front to stab it down but seems to have squeezed out an inside edge onto the front pad. The replays suggest so, and the on-field decision is upheld. India lose their last review.
76.3: Ravindra Jadeja to Keshara Nuwantha, Half a shout for LBW, but turned down. Dishes it out full, on middle. Nuwantha gets forward to defend but ekes out an inside edge before the ball goes through the batter's legs.

75.6: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! A game-sealing over from Suthar. Triple whammy for him as he completes a well-deserved 5-wicket haul. The second of his very brief Test career. Tossed up, full and outside off, at 93 kph. Kumara lunges forward to defend but plays for the turn, but the ball goes on with the arm. He gets the faintest outside edge, and Pant collects safely to his left behind the stumps. A prolonged appeal for caught behind and up goes the finger. Kumara walks off without bothering to review. Sri Lanka are 199/9, with India just one wicket away from victory.
75.5: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, Beauty! Drifts the ball away from the batter from around the stump, full outside off. Kumara is drawn in frontf to block but the ball fizzes past the outside edge.
75.4: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, Spins in sharply, on a length, outside off. Lahiru Kumara hangs back and dabs it wide of gully.
75.3: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, Full and straight, around off, safely negotiated by Lahiru as he leans on and smothers the spin.
75.2: Manav Suthar to Prabath Jayasuriya, OUT! TIMBER! Just too good for a number 9. This is speared in from around the wicket, short in length in line with the off stump. Prabath Jayasuriya stays back to defend, but the ball lands and straightens off the deck to whistle past the outside edge, and it clatters into the off pole. Two in two for Suthar and he is on a hat-trick now. India need 2 more wickets for the win.
75.1: Manav Suthar to Sonal Dinusha, OUT! CAUGHT! The fight from Sonal Dinusha is over, and with him goes Sri Lanka’s hopes of avoiding defeat in this Test. This is tossed up from around the wicket with a leg gully in place. Dinusha lunges to tuck it away, but the ball spins back with a bit of bounce to catch the inside edge. It clips the pads before going straight into the waiting hands of Dhruv Jurel at leg gully, who is present under the helmet. He crouches and gobbles it up. End of a top effort in this Test by Dinusha.
48.5: Asitha Fernando to Prasidh Krishna, OUT! CAUGHT! Asitha Fernando closes out the innings with a four-fer, as India get bowled out for 193, leading by 371 runs. Fernando bangs it in short again and around leg, Prasidh Krishna backs away and looks to slam it down the ground but gets a top edge. The fielders from mid-wicket and mid on converge, but it is Lahiru Kumara from mid on who keeps his eyes on the ball and pouches it safely. Dhananjaya de Silva does well to move out of the way as well.
48.4: Asitha Fernando to Mohammed Siraj, A full ball darted across off, Mohammed Siraj backs away early and has to reach for it. He stabs it into the turf and the bounce bounces down to deep third for a single.
48.3: Asitha Fernando to Mohammed Siraj, That's adventurous from Siraj. Short and over the leg stump, Siraj shuffles to the off side and looks to pull it fine but fails to connect.
48.2: Asitha Fernando to Prasidh Krishna, Another short ball, attacking the ribs. Krishna is taken aback and fends it away through backward square leg for a run.

It goes low to slip, where Dhananjaya de Silva snaffles it safely to his right. India are 190/9, leading by 368 runs.
46.6: Asitha Fernando to Kuldeep Yadav, Following the batter with a hard-length delivery. Kuldeep plays the late dab down to deep third for one.
46.5: Asitha Fernando to Mohammed Siraj, Switches to over the wicket, on a back of a length, on off. Siraj hops and nudges it towards square leg, where Dhananjaya de Silva gets low to his left to make the stop but then lets it go intentionally. Interesting.
46.4: Asitha Fernando to Mohammed Siraj, Another bumper over the left shoulder. Siraj thinks about going after it but then bails out.
46.3: Asitha Fernando to Mohammed Siraj, Goes short but this is down the leg side and it is let through by Siraj.
46.2: Asitha Fernando to Manav Suthar, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Wicket number 3 for Asitha Fernando. Another Indian batter falls to a short ball. Cross-seam ball, dug in short, over the right shoulder. 79.4: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, OUT! STUMPED! Manav Suthar completes the mop-up job. India secure a 178-run lead as Manav finishes with four wickets. Sri Lanka have been bowled out for 284. Suthar switches to over the wicket and drags the length back, on off. Kumara gives the bowler the premeditated charge but is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. He still swings at it. The ball spins past the inside edge, and Kumara is at a point of no return as Rishabh Pant whips the bails off.
79.3: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, SIX! Hit against the wind but it still goes all the way. Flighted up, spinning into the arc, on middle and leg. Kumara gets down on a knee and plays the slog sweep with the spin over deep square leg for a biggie. Sri Lanka trail by 178 runs.

78.1: Ravindra Jadeja to Sonal Dinusha, OUT! LBW! That shot through, and Sonal Dinusha has been caught in front. He has reviewed it, though. Was there an inside edge? Turning back into the left-hander, on the shorter side, on off. Dinusha walks across to clip it away but the ball keeps low and he is beaten on the inside edge. There is a murmur on the UltraEdge when the ball is next to the bat but it is not conclusive enough to convince the third umpire that there is an edge. The Ball Tracking comes up as three reds with the ball crashing into the middle stump. Sonal walks off with a shake of the head, unhappy with himself. Maybe he felt there was a feather, but UltraEdge showed otherwise. Sri Lanka are 274/9, trailing by 188 runs.
77.6: Manav Suthar to Lahiru Kumara, From over the wicket, on a good length, turning back in, on off. Kumara leans across and stabs it down with the bat close to the front pad.
77.5: Manav Suthar to Prabath Jayasuriya, OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Number three for Suthar as Prabath runs out of patience. In front of the stumps, on a fuller length, spinning away with a bit of bounce off the pitch. Prabath Jayasuriya plants his back knee into the pitch and goes for the premeditated slog sweep. However, he gets a massive top edge and the ball bobbles up towards deep mid-wicket where Dhruv Jurel runs in off the ropes and takes a simple straightforward catch. Sri Lanka are 274/8, trailing by 188 runs.
77.4: Manav Suthar to Sonal Dinusha, CENTURY FOR SONAL DINUSHA! A brilliant knock from him under immense pressure against a quality bowling unit. He gets to his maiden Test hundred. A moment to cherish for a lifetime for the youngster. He has displayed excellent patience and temperament. The Sri Lankan dugout is on its feet to appreciate this valiant knock. He removes his helmet and raises his bat to the crowd and his teammates. He gets to his milestone by sweeping the full ball towards deep square leg for an easy single.
77.3: Manav Suthar to Sonal Dinusha, Full outside off, Sonal Dinusha takes a giant stride in and smothers the spin.

He keeps slamming the deck hard, short and outside the leg stump. Krishna gets inside the line to try to play the pull shot but only manages to glove it behind to the keeper. Niroshan Dickwella takes a regulation catch. A polite appeal is all that is required for the umpire to raise his finger. It took the Lankans just four balls to get the job done.
116.3: Asitha Fernando to Prasidh Krishna, Again switches to around the wicket. Bashes the length hard, just around the leg stump. Prasidh tries to bunt the ball down but misses and is hit around his left shoulder.

Half a shout for LBW but the impact seemed to be outside the line of the off stump. That will be STUMPS on Day 2.
115.5: Prabath Jayasuriya to Kuldeep Yadav, Drags the length back a bit, on the off stump. Kuldeep attempts the sweep but drags a bottom edge onto the pads.

114.6: Asitha Fernando to Prasidh Krishna, An optimistic shout for LBW. Fernando spears in a full ball, on leg. Krishna hurriedly gets his bat down to jam it out but gets hit on the front pad. The angle seems to be taking it down leg, but Sri Lanka want to take a chance. No bat involved but as expected, the Ball Tracking has the ball missing the leg stump by a fair bit.
114.5: Asitha Fernando to Prasidh Krishna, Dug in short, over off. Krishna hops and gets his hands high to fend it down. An outside edge is found but it goes through the vacant slip cordon. Prasidh sets off for the run but Kuldeep refuses the single.
114.4: Asitha Fernando to Kuldeep Yadav, On a good length, on off. Kuldeep taps it through covers and gets to the other end.
114.3: Asitha Fernando to Kuldeep Yadav, Switches to around the wicket and attacks the stumps with a full ball. Kuldeep just about gets his bat down and digs it out to mid on. Dhananjaya de Silva is a bit deep and Krishna thinks about sneaking in a single but is sent back by Yadav.
114.2: Asitha Fernando to Kuldeep Yadav, FOUR! Sonal Dinusha's effort goes in vain. A little too straight, on the shorter side, around leg. Yadav gets on top of the bounce and rolls his wrists over the ball to pull it behind square leg. Dinusha sprints to his left and dives but can't make the stop.
114.1: Asitha Fernando to Kuldeep Yadav, Down leg, on a hard length. Kuldeep swings at it but is beaten for pace.

77.4: Manav Suthar to Keshara Nuwantha, OUT! BOWLED! Suthar, fittingly, wraps it up in style, capping off an impressive 6-wicket haul in the process. He also completes a 10-for in this Test, having picked four wickets in the first innings. Sharing the attack with two far more experienced spinners, he has been the standout performer on a Galle surface that offered precious little in return. INDIA WIN BY 165 RUNS and take a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series. Coming to the ball, Suthar drops it short and around off. Nuwantha goes back to defend, but the ball comes back in, sneaking through the gap between bat and pad before crashing into off stump.
