India vs West Indies , 2nd ODI at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati , WI in IND, 3 ODIs, 2026 , Sep 30, 2026 Scorecard

49.6: Gurnoor Brar to Shamar Joseph, Beaten! Short and angling in from outside leg at 137.7 kph, Shamar backs away, looking to pull, but misses entirely. A fine last over from Brar, but West Indies finish on 405/7, their highest ODI total ever.

49.5: Gurnoor Brar to Roston Chase, Pinpoint yorker outside the leg stump. Chase backs away and works it to cover-point for a single.

49.4: Gurnoor Brar to Shamar Joseph, Up in the air... but safe! Brar spots Joseph moving to the leg side and cannons in a yorker on the leg stump, completely cramping the batter for room. Shamar looks to flick it to the leg side but gets a fat leading edge. The ball swirls over covers but Gill is unable to spot the ball initially and it drops in front of him. One run taken.

49.3: Gurnoor Brar to Shamar Joseph, Play and a miss! Short of a length, on top of off, Shamar Joseph looks to carve it over backward point but misses.

49.2: Gurnoor Brar to Shamar Joseph, FOUR! Up and over! Nicely executed by Shamar. 400 up for West Indies, for the first time in ODI history! A well-executed wide yorker from Brar, but Shamar reads it in time. He jams his bat down at the last moment and opens the face just enough to steer it over a leaping fielder at short third, with the ball sailing beyond Rohit Sharma's outstretched hands.

49.1: Gurnoor Brar to Roston Chase, Spears in full and on off, Chase swings it down to long on for a single.

48.6: Auqib Nabi to Shamar Joseph, In the air... lands safely! Kuldeep never looked like getting into a good position to take the catch. Full on leg, and Shamar goes to hoick it across the line, but ends up slicing his shot over backward point off the leading edge. Kuldeep from short third, tracks back to take the catch, but overruns the ball, and it drops just short of him as he spins around, leaving him no chance to recover. He tumbles and bangs his head on the turf in the process, though he seems to be fine. Two runs taken.

48.6: Auqib Nabi to Shamar Joseph, WIDE! For height. Short and over the head of the batter. Shamar swings to pull but misses to connect.

48.5: Auqib Nabi to Roston Chase, Around off on a fuller length, Chase drags it across to long on for a single.

48.4: Auqib Nabi to Roston Chase, Big swing and a miss again! Full and straight, outside the off stump. Chase swings hard to send it soaring over covers, only to miss out again.

48.3: Auqib Nabi to Roston Chase, Back of a length, outside off, hacked off the back foot to the cover fielder.

48.2: Auqib Nabi to Roston Chase, Swing and a miss! Into the blockhole, and wide outside off. Chase fails to get under it and misses out to put bat on ball.

48.1: Auqib Nabi to Shamar Joseph, Fuller than a length, on off, weakly lofted over mid off for a single.

47.6: Ravindra Jadeja to Roston Chase, Drifts it full and down leg, on a fuller length. Roston Chase moves a bit too much across and goes for the slog sweep but misses. KL Rahul grabs it to his left. 2/75 in 10 overs for Jadeja as he ends his spell.

47.5: Ravindra Jadeja to Shamar Joseph, Just in! Full and fired outside off at 100.5 kph. Shamar swings hard but misses completely as he loses his shape. Rahul is a bit late to react behind the stumps, and the ball deflects away to short third. The batters dash through for a bye, with Jadeja calling for the throw to come in quickly. Shamar is late off the mark but scrambles home in time regardless. And the replay confirms that Shamar is home before Jadeja whips the bails off.

47.5: Ravindra Jadeja to Shamar Joseph, WIDE! Spills it wide outside off, beyond the tramline. Shamar swings hard, only to miss.

47.4: Ravindra Jadeja to Shamar Joseph, SIX! Oh, hello? Extraordinary strike on the first ball. Quicker and fuller, outside off, Shamar Joseph takes it on and spanks it over the long off fence for a cracking six. This is now West Indies' highest ODI score ever.

47.3: Ravindra Jadeja to Alzarri Joseph, OUT! CAUGHT BY ROHIT! Small pleasures for India and, more importantly, Jadeja as he gets his second wicket after a barren run in this format. Short of a length, and Alzarri can't decide whether to flick it or go through with the pull. Indecision costs him, as the shot comes off all wrong, and the ball loops up weakly, dropping straight into the fielder's zone with barely any distance to cover. Rohit Sharma swoops across from deep square leg and takes a fine catch. West Indies are 385/7 with 15 balls remaining.

47.2: Ravindra Jadeja to Alzarri Joseph, Full on the leg stump. Joseph rocks back and knocks it back to the bowler.

47.2: Ravindra Jadeja to Alzarri Joseph, WIDE! Fires one more down leg, on a length. Joseph misses the flick and KL Rahul collects the ball to his left. He goes up in an appeal for caught behind, but that doesn't influence the umpire one bit.

47.1: Ravindra Jadeja to Alzarri Joseph, FOUR! Loosener and easily dealt with! Down the leg stump, on a fuller length. Joseph tickles it off the inside edge and it races to the deep fine leg for a boundary.
